Hi,
I'm trying to schedule a DTS package to import data from a lotus notes table once daily. The problem that I have is that only the table structure is created with no data. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,

Yes. It does create the table and populates the data as well. Any Ideas?

The only thing I can think of is that when the package runs at the scheduled time, there is no data in the source table. Does the table get truncated at any time, or does it always contain data?

Jim

It always imports data when I run the package manually by clicking excute package. When I go into the package, I noticed it only has the sql for create table.

Thanks,

No. Does this table have to be linked?

Only if it is on another server. But you said it works when you run it manually, so I can't imagine why it doesn't work when you schedule it.

When you run that DTS package manually, are you running it directly from server machine or from another computer through Enterprise manager (for example) ?

In the 1960s you needed the power of two Comodore64s to get a rocket to the moon. Now you need a machine which is a vast number of times more powerful just to run the most popular GUI.
