Hi
Im having serious problems creating PDF files from Quark in Windows XP.
Im not sure if its a Quark problem in itself or maybe Windows?
When I go through the process to create a PDF, if the pile contains an image, it is taking a lifetime to actually go through the motions and create the file, and then the worse bit it how it affects my computer afterwards. Programs and windows on the screen lock up and freeze and all the while the computer seems to be 'thinking'. This doesn't clear for quite a while afterwards.
Its as if the whole process is really taking it out of my machine.
Even though ive upgaded my memory slghtly over the past few months, Im thinking that this could possibly be a memory problem? Can i allocated memory to a specific program or action (pdfing) in Windows at all?
Please someone help as ive got a new magazinr to get out in 2 weeks!!
Thanks
Simon
