Hello again,

Last week I tried to make a "restore by session" but all the sessions have strage characters on their names and do not contain anything. I suposed that it was a DB corruption so I initializated the mediapools DB and the session DB. I still having the same problem. Should a complete initialization of all the DBs solve the problem. In this case how should I procced to minimize the impact? If not, any idea on this?

Thank you all guys!

astpsdat should be the first one to initialize. That is of course accepting that you want to init rather than repair.

See the faq section for more details on the database.

Reinitialized all databases but the problem still occurs... Have any idea about what's happening? Should reinstallation of the software be the solution?

When you initialise all databases there should be no restore information to be viewed at all.
What happens when you merge a tape into the database ??

I merged a tape and the Session name it's correct right now but the session it's empty so I could not make a restore by session.

Finally solved by re-installing software.
