Problems linking with g++

Hallo, we're trying to compile with g++ compiler ( Sun Solaris 2.6 ) one of the basic examples with a simple put and get but we don't find the options for a right linking and compiling. It looks like the definitions of the methods refering to Imq* objects are not found within the libraries that IBM indicates.
Can somebody tell us what options of linking are necessary for resolve this problem ?
Is it possible to use this compiler without any problem ?
