Problems installing Business Objects 5.1.6 on Novell 1

Distributing Business Objects 5.1.6 via NAL causes the following error messages appear Bad AgentID followed by USR0046 ,USR0057 SBO0009"

"Note: Due to our client workstation build we cannot deploy via Z.A.B.O
All workstations have Oracle client (version 8.1.6) installed on them (Our repository is on an Oracle DB).

And it is possible to connect to the repository via sql+. In addition the middle ware was checked and everything appeared to be okay."

I had this same problem and have just found the solution.
1)Edit you Snapshot image in NWAdmin.
2)Go to the registry section.
3)Manually go through every key in the \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\BusinessObjects4)Look for any "Multi String" values
5)Edit each value and remove the last line which will just be a hard return.
6)save settings then verify the application through NAL.

what I mean by the hard return is say the value is:

kagtsess.dll
kagtsbo.dll
#kbus.dll#kgtrep50.dll#REPOSITORY#Agent Reposit#

If you move the cursor as far to the bottom as you can, it will sit under the # on #kbus. Hit the backspace once so the curor sits on the right side of the last line.
