Problems deleting word documents in Explorer

Im having a very unusual problem with a user. She has XP Pro, Office XP, a P4 and 1GB of Ram.
When she trys to delete or copy a word document or a folder containing word documents in Explorer she gets the standard XP error
"Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close . . .etc"
The Error signature is
Appname: explorer.exe
AppVer 6.0.2800.1106
Modname: qvpse3
ModVer 7.0.0.1
Offset: 00005cc1

This happens regardless of whether Word is open.
I've rebuilt all the software in the system from our standard system image and replaced the system board.

And im fast running out of ideas.
Any ideas ?
