When I call up help from office applications (Word, excel, or Access) my system comes to a crawl!. Pulling up Task manager shows msohelp.exe being loaded 2+ times and help never shows up. If I call up F1 again with msohelp(s) services already running, Help works fine.
-I've reloaded office2k, loaded sp1-a, sp-3, no change.
-I've followed Microsofts article 237355 with no help.
-I've loaded all the latest XP patches including the one that was supposed to fix html help.. NG.
My work-around is to fire up msohelp.exe before I need to check help... This works every time. Its just calling it from within the office app. that creates this problem... when I forget to do this, it is VERY annoying...
