Problems Backing Up Exchange

I'm running into a problem trying to backup our Exchange server. We're running Arcserve 11.5, and the pre-flight check fails with:

"Failed to log on to the client agent on EXCHANGE-SERVER
1. Modify this job and ensure that the username
and password for EXCHANGE-SERVER are correct
2. Ensure that BACKUP-SERVER is not denied access
by the agent's access control list

I've checked the logon account and I'm using Administrator and everything matches. If anyone can give me a hand with this I owe them a beer...

Have you tried to test the backup itself ? the PFC is not always the correct way to check connectivity and authentication. If the backup fails check the errorcodes,
