problems after hibernation 1

i've a problem. my win xp pro doesn't run properly. when its try to run from hibernation there is only black screen and there isn't any reaction from system. therefore i've removed a hiberfil.sys from unix (i use it to work in school) and it didn't fixed a problem. what could i do?

It wont hurt to check your Event Viewer to see if anything is mentioned there.

Some general things to try.

Run the System File Checker program from the Run Box by typing.....Sfc /Scannow in it and have your XP CD handy.

If they don't work you could try repairing windows itself by running it over itself. You will lose all your windows updates but your files will be untouched.
