This morning at 6 AM windows Server 2003 did its normal check for updates. It downloaded and ran 7 updates:
KB 900725 KB 902400 KB 901017 KB 899589
KB 904706 KB 905414 KB 896688
It then forced a system reboot.
When I came in, I logged on and the server continued to reboot. Part of the reboot includes loading Iomega BackupPro. Iomega BackupPro hung and I had to shutdown thru Ctl_alt_del.
I tried to open MY COMPUTER. The screen opens but shows no list of items. It's blank.

I've run Symantic AntiVirus and on-line virus scan and Ad-Aware. All found nothing.
We uninstalled each of the above updates and we still have the problem.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi John,

try to disable automatic updates service on the Services on the server. Maybe you can use shutdown -a command to eliminate further reboots, then check eventlog for more info...

I hope it helps...

cheers
