Problem with write on file

Dear friends,
I have got a website which got a counter. The counting is initialized by global.asa where its written to increase count to a file count.txt which store just a number.

I have given write permission to the count.txt through IIS. But still when i open that website, it gives error showing permission denied.

Any solution for this?

Set the permissions for the file from Windows Explorer. Ensure that the IUSR account has got write access to the file.
