problem with word 2000 saved document

hi everybody, i have a problem, one of my users have been working on a document, he saved, closed the document, and then when he tried to open it, he gets an error that says that he needs to install SR1, so when i see the document, and notice that the file size was 0 Kb!!!, i don't know what can i do to help my users, so he doesn´t need to re-write the document.
Does anybody know what can i do, (he uses a laptop with XP professional and office 2000).
i have search for temporary file at c:\windows\temp and at the dir that he saved the document, but i found nothing.

Hi Pichi,

It might be worth checking the folder where the AutoRecover files are saved.

To find where this is go to Tools, Options, File Locations.
