Hi,
I am not able to find a server on the network.Found that, the server is on the default vlan and cleint machines are on a different distributed vlans. How to access default vlan or the server which is in the default vlan?
Is there anything like IP forwarding to be set in default vlan?
Could anybody help me on this?
Regards,
Sas

Hi

To communicate between devices in different VLANs, you have to have a router. If there is a router properly configured to have interface in both VLANs, then packets will be exchanged between these 2 VLANS. All you have to do is put in the gateway of each devices the router interface belonging to their side of the network and the router will do the rest.

Cheers
