Problem with URLSCAN and OWA

Hey...
i installed URLSCAN and from then the OWA will open, and gives me errors like "the item could be found. it may be deleted"...
i removed the urlscan...and its working great again.

but my question - is it safe not to have URLSCAN (but to have IIS lockdown)?

Hi Ode,
I remember reading somewhere from MS Knowledge page that the most important thing about IIS Lockdown tool is the URLScan so I think it is unsafe for OWA not have URLScan installed. The link below (article 329989) helped troubleshoot the problem that you have. Hope this help.
