I am having trouble with my calendar time in Outlook 2002. When I go to Tools, options, Calendar Options, Time Zone it reads (GMT-06:00) Central Time (US & Canada)
The Adjust for daylight saving time is checked. The kicker is the Current time says: Fri 05/31/2002 10:03 AM.

When you go to Date and Time Properties in the control panel it says Current time zone: Central Daylight Time and the time says May 31, 2002 9:03 am. This is the correct time.

When I click on the calendar to add a new schedule it shows the 10:03. I have reinstalled Office XP and applied SP 1, but it hasn't corrected the problem.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Is anybody else having this problem? I'm wondering if your server that you connect to is off by an hour and maybe the server's time needs to be corrected?

No one else is having this problem. I seem to be the lucky one.

If I go to Tools, options, Calendar Options, Time Zone, Current Time and uncheck the daylight savings zone in Outlook it makes my time view correctly in Current Time. However, when I try to add a scheduled item to the calendar I used to just click on the time (for instance 9:30 am) and it would display the starting time as 9:30 am. Now when I click on any time to add a schedule it always shows 30 minutes more than the current time. It has never done this before. Earlier today before I unchecked the Daylight Savings box it was 1 hour off.

Something is really screwed up and I'm baffled at how to fix it.

Thanks again.

I finally figured it out!!! It was a customized view. I'm not sure what I did to screw it up, but when I reset the view it fixed my problem.

Go figure!!

Thanks for your help.
