I have got a problems with the Sniffer Switch Expert!

If I try to build up a Cisco Catalyst 2948G connection with the switch experts the Sniffer Pro 4.70.04, I get the error message Unable to Read switch data.

I have captured the connection set-up between Sniffer Pro and Cisco Switch and no data are sent by the Sniffer Pro to the switch.

The switch expert works fine with the same switch and the Sniffer Distributed 4.2.

Is there a known BUG at the Sniffer Pro 4.7?

Thank You

Make sure in Sniffer Pro you only have TCP/IP bound to one ethernet card. That will be the card sending the snmp commands to the switch. Also make sure that is not the card pluged into the span port.
Cheers

Only TCP/IP protocol is bound on my Ethernet card.

The card isn't attached to the SPAN port.

IP Communication, like Ping or Telnet, works to the switch.
