problem with shortcut

i just uninstalled some application in my w2k server. but i found out that during the startup when all the dekstop icon starting to appearing, it prompt me that problem with shorcut message box. how can i clean it?

Do you still have a shortcut to the application on your desktop?

no, there no more shortcut icon in my desktop, it probably running in the background. normally in win98, i will delete it from msconfig. unfortunetely im just new in win2k.
