I have a computer that is on the domain at work that is not shared but the only thing it has access to is the internet,HR Software and the users personal folder. When she shuts down this is the message she gets. I am at a lost when i look i see no shares. No one was working on the 17th when she was there by herself it didnt do this but today while all was working it did this below. Any help would be greatful.

"There are 1 user(s) connected to your computer.Shutting down your computer will disconnect them. Do you want to continue?"

Also in the task bar at the bottom of the screen it also says "Shared.

If file and print sharing is turned on, even if there are no shares, this can happen. Go to the properties of network neighborhood. Either remove file and printer sharing, or click the file/print sharing button, and uncheck both boxes. I get this concern all the time, nobody is hacking you, just turn it off.
