I am having a problem with spammers relaying. I originally setup my domain as mydomain, not mydomain.com (FQDN). Then we took on our own webhosting and email. Exchange was installed and the only way I could get incomming emails to go to the user's inbox was to enable relaying.

Does anyone have any clue how to block the relaying and still have messages come though?

See faq858-1592 and faq858-4295

I think my situation was unique to the faq because the non-FQDN. Relaying must be enabled in the virtual server in order to receive emails.

My solution to the problem:

Create a new connector with the FQDN I am using. ie. mydomain.com and then go into the "delivery options" tab. Check "By default, messages for everyone are rejected" Then click add and add all the people in my domain.

Worked like a charm.

Just have to remember to add new people there when I setup their user accounts in the future.
