1. Running Windows NT 4.0
2. Running Proxy server.
3. Using Internet Explorer.
4. Microsoft Exchange server.
Problem I'm having is this: I get the proxy server to dial the internet provider and connect. I can browse and everything. I can not get the client to see the internet. I have put the proxy address in the client Internet explorer and port address but still will not see the internet. I'm using the Web Proxy of the Proxy Server. Do I need a gateway established? Users can send email to each other. I'm also using static IP addresses.

Are you using proxy client ? If yes, remove it
Simply install the web client, make sure the 'Default Website' on your IIS running Proxy server is not stopped, and runs on port 80
In Internet explorer, simply specify the IP address of your proxy server, and use port 80 as port
(You don't have to set a gateway on your clients, only on your server, and you only have to put a internet DNS server on your proxy server, not on your clients)

This should work just fine

Make sure the LAT table in Proxy holds the address range of your client machine.
