I am attempting to use the behavior, Open Browser Window.
I have used the following code:
<p ><a href="#" onClick="MM_openBrWindow('images/Tribal-Ethnic/700x500AP-cis.jpg','6AntiqueAfghanIslamScriptPendants','resizable=yes,width=700,height=500')"><img src="images/Tribal-Ethnic/AP-cis601.jpg" alt="IslamicScriptAntiqueCarnelianAfghanistan" width="200" height="154"></a>
When I check this by File-Preview in Browser, the Popup page works perfectly. However when I go to my site directly and click the chosen image, I get the -" The page cannot be found". Do you have any suggestions? I am at a brick wall.
Thanks.

Did you upload the image - to the correct directory?

Thank you johnwm. The image is in my root file on my hard drive. When I used the behaviors panel to insert the Open Brower window, I used to browse butten to find that image. The strange thing is that it works when I check it thru File-Preview in Browser. It works on all Browsers except Opera. Just does not work if I go to the site directly. I have checked it on other computers and all get "The page cannot be found" message.
I will appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks

Needs to be on your webserver - can you give us a link to the site?

Thanks Johnwm,
I appreciate your help with this problem.
My site is The page that is causing the problem is
I am new to Dreamweaver, having done all of the original work on this site with FrontPage and Expression web. I knew how to save to the webserver with those programs. I don't know how to do that with Dreamweaver.
Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the link - it confirms that the image is not yet uploaded to your server. Just do a Put of your image from your hard drive to the images folder on your server.

When you have resolved that have a look at your site in (as a minimum) Firefox, IE6, IE7 and Safari. The visual discrepancies that you will find are mainly due to the invalid markup that you have used. See w3c validator for details

Thanks for that information. I understand what you have suggested and will follow thru.
Can you suggest which DOCTYPE would be appropriate for my site? This is the main reason I switched from ExpressionWeb to Dreamweaver.
Thanks

Only you can make that choice. There is some good links here - The W3C section contains links to HTML 4.01 and XHTML specifications, but these may be a bit heavy to start with.

To get a brief overview of what the Doctypes mean to you see faq215-3903
