Problem with new VS 6.0 Enterprise install

Installed VS 6.0 Ent on a machine, when I run previously written code I get "Cannot find project or library" in relation to simple "Format" or "Char$" calls. Checked all of the libraries, classes, references, objects, and all were the same as the two other machines I have this running on now. Is there anything else or something special I have to add to this machine, I didn't have to add anything to the other two - make any sense?

Hi,

1) What is the OS version of the "old" and "new" PCs?

2) Do you get the error when openning the project into the IDE or when you actually run the project within the IDE?

Have you installed SP5 yet?

The error comes up when trying to Run the code, the two machines successfully running VS 6.0 are XP Pro the machine having trouble is Win 2K. I do have SP5 installed on all machines but I have not yet checked for any other downloads using the Win 2k machine. I will look for updates today, thanks for the advice. The VS 6.0 ent package came with a Windows 2000 plus pack which I have not yet installed on the Win 2k computer, do you think this may have additional libraries that are necessary?
