How do I stop a local port from being used as a shared network port? We did the following command from DOS

"net use lpt1 \\128.9.9.9\hplazer"

and would like to reverse it so that the shared printer hplazer is NOT used as lpt1 when we show netview.

Anyone????

Thanks

If the LPT port is currently connected to a print share, type the following command to disconnect the LPT port from the print share:

NET USE LPT1 /D

I hope this Solve your Problem !
