Problem With Monitor

My monitor shows a black screen with a green line going across the front of the screen. Is it dead?

It sounds like it, but it could possibly be your graphics adapter also. Only way to know for sure is the hook the monitor up to a different computer. Don Swayser

I tried hooking it to several pc's, but the same problem persist
