Problem with keyboard map

Hello everybody,

I've got some problems with my linux redhat 7.1
i installed it and now i'm using it with gnome!
i choosed "sg" as Keyboard map, and it works.
Only when i'm opening a gnome terminal I
have the other (the american i think) keyboard map!!!!
Can anyone help me????

It looks as if you would just go to the Gnome Control Centre -> peripherals -> keyboard. See -->

Hi, thx for your answer, but in the
control center i can just check the
bell the volume and the repeat rate !!!
If i'm on runlevel 3 everything's ok.
so, where can I set the keyboard map
(sg for "swiss german" or de for "german" )
