I can't seem to copy any files from my HD to the Zip drive. It starts copying and then the file stops and it freezes my PC.

I also get the following error messages in the event viewer.

Event ID: 51
Date: 08/07/2001
Time: 12:30:26 PM

How much data are you copying?
Have you downloaded the latest driver from iomega.com?
Try copying data relatively small. Do you get the same problem?
Try disable any services/antivirus temporarily whilst you try to copying.
Cool

the event viewer? are you using nt4.0 or which O.P.
are you zip drive connected in diferent IDE cable if not try.
HD PRIMARY ZIP SECONDARY.
try increase page memory
i hve work with all external medias and they are very unreadable
is the cartrige new?
if not reformat

I have tried to copy smaller amounts of data and everything seems to be fine but i haven't really tried that too much. I have windows 2000 and i also have the newest drivers installed. I tried with new disks and old disks, formatting and normal.

The Zip is on IDE 2 and it's by itself and set to master. How would i increase the page memory and why would this affect the transfer to a zip disk..

thanks
jason
