Hi,

I recently installed IIS on my Windows XP Pro. When I tested it using IE (version 6) by using it would open iisstart.asp file without a fuss. However, when I tested it using Mozilla Firefox, it would ask me for a user name and a password. However, I never set any user name nor password on my computer. If I clicked OK without entering anything, I would just get the same prompt for user name and password. IF I clicked cancel (twice), it would give me an error. Is there a problem here? If so, how would I bypass user name and password to get straight to localhost?

Thanks,

i'm sorry i might not be of much help on this issue (don't work much with this) but try to use the username and password for your isp and see if that works. well anyways good luck.
