Hi,

We have a problem where the date and time has been set on our on our Windows 2000 Server but on our web pages (both Cold Fusion and ASP) the date is read from the database in US Format (MM/DD/YYYY). I've made changes to "Regional Options" under Control Panel [General Tab - Locale = English (Australian), Date Tab - "dd/MM/yyyy", and "Input Locales" tab = English (Australia)]. In addition, I've added the appropriate (for CF and ASP) "Localising" code to test web pages, and set Windows 2000 System Policies to set the correct date format.

I've read and implemented all of the suggestions found in MS Knowledgebase articles, Q271587, Q248142, Q241671, and Q264063 without any change....the date still shows in MM/DD/YYYY format (even when I use CF and ASP specific date formatting functions.

I'm using an MS Access 97 database and have tried all types of default date formatting (even leaving it blank).

Does anyone else have any clues (apart from switching to UNIX)?? Peter Toby
