Problem with CR 9.0 & Adobe PDF Writer

When I try to print out a report in PDF Writer, the text looks like Russian alphabet. It looks fine in PDF Distiller. I had no problem like this when using CR 8.0. Because of the length of my reports, I prefer PDF Writer as Distiller makes huge files. The only fonts I use in CR are Times New Roman and Arial.

Has anyone else experienced this? If so, did you find a fix? I have gone to both Adobe and CR Support sites but have found nothing on this.

I know this is months later, but here is what I would suggest. When going to print in Adobe (File-Print), you will see a check box on the right hand side print as image. Selecting that should fix your problem.
