I have a problem with students saving work to their network folder. This does not happen all the time or for every student.

Students have a personnal folder mapped to H drive. Sometimes when a student tries to save a new file e.g *.doc.*.xls they get a message saying file already saved and an icon with the file name appears with the correct name. However the size of the file is 0KB! Students are assuming that their work is saved when it is not. This is just a recent problem before everything worked OK, cannot remember changing any settings. Has anyone any ideas? Thanks.

We have Win98 workstations, W2K servers, NTFS drives
