I have a problem backing up hosts on a Microsoft Virtual Server. Everytime the backupjob runs it fails. Quite annoying. I have three virtual servers that operates on a Microsoft Virtual server installation.

The problem is that the writers used to backup the "Shadow System Components" on the three virtual servers are timed out. I can do backup with Windows "NT Backup" so the writers should work just fine but I can't do backup from BackupExec 10 Build 5520.

I have checked the vssadmin and there is no problem with the writers on the hostserver or the three virtual servers.

I have tried to reschedule the job but it won't run.

If there is someone in the whole wide world that had run in to this kind of problem PLEASE answer!

Best Regards
Robert "The Sweed" Svensson

Try upgrading to 10.1 with SP1
