Hi,
I have a problem: when I connect to a specific site using https protocol, it seems like the site stops to respond, for instance, I clink on buttons, the buttons works but nothing happens.
I use Ms proxy server 2.0, Win NT 4 server with SP6, and win98 and Xp as client.

I already try to connect the router (used to connect to Internet) directly to the LAN (without pass the Nt server), and it works, so I suppose that the problem is the proxy server.

I appreciate some help.
Thanks

Yes, but without success, the problem remains.
Thanks for your help.

i'm having similar problems. connecting to a web based booking system and it just hangs. I installed MS Proxy client and that resolved a lot of the problems - as the software now goes through socks proxy rather than webproxy. The reason being socks allows all ports open, where as webproxy doesn't - or something like that.

Anyway, alternatively, i was told to open up the ports on the proxy server - but i don't know how to. If anyone has any idea, please let me know.

Otherwise MS Proxy client's your answer maybe.

Thanks
