Hi,

Forgive me if this is a bit sketchy but I'm only new to this kind of thing and can only but my best interpretation on this.

We have a product that utilises InstallAnywhere (I think its by ZeroG) to install. Part of the install involves JBoss being registered with the PC's Services. Having then done this we can utilise the command net start JBoss to start our appserver. All of this works perfectly on Windows 2000.

However, when I tried this on an XP machine JBoss did not get registered with the PC Services. I managed to manipulate the InstallJBoss.bat file and get the JBoss registered but when I type net start JBoss it immediately errors with a message saying that it did not respond to the control file (whatever this means)

Is anyone aware of any issues in using InstallAnywhere on Windows 2000 and XP?

Thanks,

Tom
