I am trying to create another phantom number but when I in put the DN I want to use (which I know is free) I am getting SCH0733 - Unable to match the inout field with the stored mnemonics. What does that mean??

TIA

post your screen shot please

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

The entry it is looking for at CPND is "NEW" or just hit return if you don't want or care about the internal name.

I'm doing this in phonemaster though from a template?
I don't know each command to do it manually just yet

Try and remove the name in Phonemaster and see if that will work. I am not familiar with Phonemaster.

I tried doing this manually (i found out what CLS we use etc)

Here's what I get now

I can't find SCH1287 anywhere either

I didn't have it set up to type any name, anything i put in there gives that result

SCH1287 = The number of portable TN's in the system exceeds the number of portable TNs defined in the tape directory.

This is all that i could find out for you.

what are your switch limits?

how many TNs do you have left that you can configure. Try outing a TN that has very little use and rebuild your phantom phone again. Your SLT print out in LD 22 will tell you how many remaing TN's you have.

guess i should have looked earlier,
SCH1287
The number of wireless telephones in the system exceeds the maximum number of wireless telephones allowed.

As soon as I enter
CUST 0 and hit return, it auto fills in WRLS YES and MWUN 16

Then asks for DN.

Creating a new handset and filling in each setting myself

it fills in wrls yes because someone told the switch that your on a wrls card.. out all the units on that card and for the 1st phone, new 500 wrls no.. that was a problem a few rls's back caused by copy of the 1st set to a new analog card..
