Problem to set administrative templates to a single user

Hi,

I'm trying to set an administrative template to a single user over a Windows XP stand alone.

The problem is: I can not configure this security setting just for a single user. The policy applies to all the users including the administrator. When i try to apply this setting it never lets me choose a group or a user.

Any idea?

This is by design. You can not do what you are looking to do with local policy. If you are in a domain environment then you can use domain GPOs to configure based on user or preferably group.
