hello everybody
Every time i switch on my computer i have this annoncement:there is a file missing or damaged, and problem with the SYSTEM.INI and at the end of a long message,it is written bi-di.386.I am sorry if i am not very clear. then i have to puch twice on enter and my computer start.
Thanks a lot for your help.

Sound like leftover from uninstalled app. Try editing your system.ini and if entry containing bi-di.386, comment it out.

Thanks for your quick answer,i'll direct try
Thanks

Wolluf? What is exactly comment it out???simply erase it???

put a semi-colon (;) at beginning of line (you could simply erase it, but caution says leave it there in case you need to refer in future).

wolluf is right, I've seen this before... Its a leftover entry in your system.ini, from you brother printer software.

Matt
