Problem setting up Transaction Replication

I am having problems with setting up Transaction Replication. I am able to create the publication and the subscription with the wizards and that is fine. My problem is that the tables are not being sent/updated. It seems that the agents have never been started and when I choose to start them, it doesn't do anything. Does anyone know how I would solve this?

Check the security[user id] of the sql server agent from Control Panel->Services and if it is setup to run with a certain user credentials, then make sure the password is entered correctly, otherwise you can choose to run it with system credentials.
