Problem sending to AOL

Suddenly I am getting this error when sending to aol.com
smtp 500 SYNTAX ERROR, COMMAND UNRECOGNIZED

All other domains we are sending work with no problem,

Any idea is welcome.

I had an issue with aol once - wasn't getting the error you are describing but the messages were not legible on the aol side. I changed the Exchange 2000 message format to go as plain text instead of HTML and things looked much better.
