Hi all. We are trying to run vpn client on a isa server. I can dial in to the vpn IP, however I can't see past the ISA server to the rest of the internal network.I don't feel we are running real clean.. to many packet filters I think.
I am no expert on ISA or 2000 server for that matter,, but I do manage to get into these corners and can't get out.
I wanted to start over but I can't remove the routing and remote area cause it wont open. I could use some help.

Thanks

Sounds like you haven't turned on routing on from within the RRAS setup. Under the IP Tab in the RRAS properties, there is a tick box to Enable IP Routing. If this isn't turned on VPN access will work, but your traffic wont get past the ISA Server.

Goto

It should explain all the steps you need.

Thanks for the help with the VPN question.. I haven't had time to test it yet but I will check out the link you gave me
