PROBLEM REGARDING: IMPORTING mp3's and AVI

I can't import AVi's and mp3's to my BIN..
it says..

Unable to open that file.
File uses an unsupported compression format.

File path: D:\FILENAMESHERE

It opens a window saying these things..
PLEASE HELPPPPPPPPPPP!!!

Can you open the files in other media players on your computer?
