Problem on enabling a TTY terminal port 1

Hi:
The personnel who instaled my Meridian1 Opc.11C (a long time ago), recently told me they have programmed the TTY 8 port for a DISPLAY PANEL for our ACD.
I'm not sure if this is true because I don't even know if this kind of device can be connected to a TTY. In such case, I may speculate I could connect a computer and capture anything that comes from it.
I have done so and found that this port is DISABLED and can't enable it for some reason, I RECEIVE THE following:

tty 8 is your low speed link for voicemail, the only time it enables is when you do the AX to get to mail. Your vendor told you wrong. By what you have, I would look at tty 1, although what do you want to see in acd that you can't look at in LD23? Need to know if you have Symposium, can't see by your info if you do!

I would guess there is no symposuim involved, I'd also guess TTY 4 is an ACD Supervisor port, which will output 'real time data' every 30 or 60 seconds. While TTY 1 is probably a ACD Printer outputing statistics every half or full hour. A prt out of these two TTY's (1 and 4) should confirm
