This message is appearing where? On the workstation I assume. At what point? During login?
Pls specify the environment - WS OS, client & version, server patch status.
On the server in monitor you can look to see what files the connection has open and then go look at those files and see if there are any locks, but that can be a long process if there are a lot of files open.
If the WS has just been rebooted the server may still have files open from their previous connection, especially if there are network problems or the previous login attempt failed.
Really need more info on this one, sorry.
