problem mounting cdrom on 5.0.7

WARNING: wd(1) now using polled interface

getting this error/warning when trying to mount a cdrom..and it just hangs.
The cdrom is on the primary ide controller & set to master. I have turned udma off in the bios and disabled the secondary ide controller...any ideas???

Have you installed the Maintenace Pack1 ?
There is a new ATAPI/EIDE wd driver.
