Hello all,
I'm really stuck trying to install SQL 2000 on a Win 2000 cluster. We have 2 Dell servers sharing an external dell disk array. The array has 4 physical drives split into 2 mirrors. Each server has of course its own local c: drives.
I've installed w2k advanced server on both servers and been through all the MS step by step quides to setup the Microsoft cluster service and it all the clustering appears to be working properly.
The problem appears when I install SQL, when I get to the step to choose the program and data file locations. The data files go on a clusted drive and the program files should go on the C: drive, but when I set this and click next I get this message: "the drive chosen for the program files installation path is not valid on all the nodes of the cluster." - But c: is valid what is going on? does anyone know?
Thanks, Simon.
