Hi,

I am very new to Citrix.
Yesterday i installed a Metaframe xp server. Now when i trying logging on to through the citrix client i get an error message " you do not have permission to log on to this session" But if the user is added to any built in groups in win2k then he is able to.
user is able to work fine through TS. But only citrix client is giving problems.
Can anyone pls help me

Thanks
Shabbir

Hi,

In citrix connection manager, add either Domain Users or create a group for your Citrix users. Then add that group to the security permissions for ica#tcp and give them user access.

Cheers,
Carl.

i tried adding domain user in it but did not work.
Is this because i have installed Mateframe XP server on Domain controller ?

Thanks
Shabbir

Hi,

You didn't mention that!

Users can't log into a Domain Controller!

Run gpedit.msc (Policy Editor for the local machine) and give Domain Users "Log On Locally" access.

Cheers,
Carl.

Domain users are already added.
Is this because its a domain controller.

Thanks
Shabbir

Hi,

Domain Users "can't" log into a Domain Controller by default!

You have to re-configure the logon settings in Local Policy Settings.

Cheers,
Carl.
