Problem in Layer Palette

When I am in the Layer Palette, and I scroll over one of the layers to see the thumbnail preview, my computer freezes. I tried to reinstall and it proceeded through the install correctly except for one error. It said that the file MSVCP60.dll was in use (or something else) and it couldn't be installed, and so I chose to skip.
I am on Windows XP.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

It sounds like you downloaded aand or installed another program that uses the same .dll file, and it is not being read by PSP. I would give Jasc tech support a call. They will know what to do.
