I have just added a Windows 2000 Server with Citrix XP into a Published Application, that is made up of NT4 Terminal Servers and Citrix XP.
When users connect to the Published Application on the same subnet they are able to connect to the W2K Server, when on a different subnet is says Citrix Server unavailable when the Load balancing tries to put them on the W2k Sever.

I have added the server to the DNS server and it only seems a problem on a different subnet.

Any ideas??

James

Can you ping the Citrix server from the subnet?

If it doesn't leak oil it must be empty!!

hi,
it is not fully clear to me your config.

You have 1 box with NT4 TSE + Metaframe XP in subnet A
and 1 box with W2K server with TS activated + Metaframe XP
in a subnet B.
Are these MF servers in the same Server Farm ?

With MF 1.8, clients discovered servers broadcasting
and also server to server used broadcast:
for this reason a 1.8 server farm cannot exists across
different subnet (broadcast don't travesrse subnet).

Now, from a client you can use TCP/IP+HTTP rather TCP/IP
and activate XML when you install MF, or after, on port 80.

bye
