Hi ... here's the situation:
I am configuring Exchange Server 5.5 with some difficulities connecting to the outside world (all of my intranet emailing works great).
I am using Outlook as the client email tool, and am trying to configure my connection to the outside world with IMS. I have a domain registered and they have the MX records configured, I am using the registered domain to connect in the TCP/IP properties. I am also able to create accounts and connect with those accounts from the client stations.
My problem is when I try to send an email to an outside my local domain address, I get a nondelivery message saying:
The recipient name is not recognized
The MTS-ID of the original message is: c=US;a= p=NRCE;l=BERKNRCE-001117012402Z-4
MSEXCH:MSExchangeMTA:CALNRCE:BERKNRCE
for what it is worth, my domain is berkeleynrce.com
If anyone can help - or thinks they can help with more information I will even UPS you some good beer (or wine if you prefer).
I appreciate any replies ... and please don't email me - I can't get it!
Thanks,
Sam
