Problem checking open files on server through MMC

Hi all,

One of our users needs to check open files on one of our servers and would like to use his local MMC to check this. However, once he is connected to the server and has drilled down to the Shared Folders area he gets a "Error 5: Access is denied" when trying to access the Open Files folder underneath it. I'm a bit of a newbie and am not quite sure where to start looking. Any help very much appreciated!

It probably has something to do with his user rights. If he is just a user or domain user and not some sort of admin, it may not allow him these rights.

The user has full Domain Admin rights
