Problem changing hunt group number

We're trying to change the hunt group extension of the attendants. Need to change from a non-DID to a DID so senior staff can access operators directly and bypass an auto attendant, from both inside and outside the office.

When try to change the group extension on the hunt-group form, error message says "5559 extension must be removed from intra-switch CDR before change or removal" The number 5559 is not in the intra-switch CDR table. We called Avaya and they can't figure it out. Does anyone have a clue what may be wrong?
 
Try to add it to intra-switch cdr form, then remove it. I've seen some flaky translation issues that cause this.
 
Tried that and got the same error message.
 
Try to create the new hunt group. Move your attendents into it and get that working. Then work on removing your old hunt.

you are checking the right form?

display or change system cdr
sounds like a data module is built against that extension number. find it in the cdr form than remove it or change it. if you remove it you'll lose the smdr output.

call accounting won't work then.
 
The data module for the cdr is assigned a different extension. Just can't find 5559 anywhere, but won't allow to use it as the hunt extension.

Added hunt next, and it took the number that way.
 
ok, try this to find where it is:

list extension-type

when the 5xxx comes up, look at what it is labeled as.
 
If your attendants are actually setup as console attendants you can make your new DID number a Listed Directory Number. All LDN's are queued to the attendant consoles.

The command is:

Change Listed
Fill in the extension and name it anything that you want. Add a night destination if you need one an it will work.
